A TSMT luncheon will be held on Friday at the University of North Texas Gateway Center. The Gateway Center is a short walk from the College of Music building. The menu will feature a chicken entree, with an option to order a vegetarian entree. The cost of the luncheon is $15.00. Visitor permits are allowed in any area designated on the visitor pass issued from the Parking Office, the Gateway Information Booth on North Texas Boulevard or the Information Booth on Avenue C. A parking garage is located on Welch street, east of the University Union building. Rates for the parking garage are approximately $1.25 per hour or $6.00 per day. Free visitor parking is available in the Fouts field parking lot on Avenue E. A shuttle bus is available to other locations on campus, however, this parking lot is only a 2-3 block walk to the Music Building (but uphill). For the Friday session, some may find the parking garage more convenient (for special accommodations, please see the UNT Service Officer at the information booth located at the Gateway Center or on Avenue C at Chestnut). Please allow ample time for parking and travel to the Music Building, since the UNT campus can be quite congested.

Optional Activity: For those arriving early, on February 23, 2006, the One O'Clock Lab Band will perform in Concert with guest artists Bill Holman & Pete Christlieb at the UNT Murchison Arts Center, Winspear Hall (8:00). Note: This extremely popular concert is usually sold out in advance. For ticket information and reservations call, 940-369-7802, or purchase tickets online.
