Traveling North on 1-35, take Exit 235A (University of Texas). Continue to the Doubletree Club Hotel on your right just after the exit on the frontage road.

 

Traveling  South on 1-35, take Exit 235 (Martin Luther King). Continue on through the light at Martin Luther King. Get into the left lane. Take the turnaround to the l-35N frontage road. Continue north on the frontage road to the Doubletree Club Hotel on your right.

Traveling North on 1-35, take Exit 236 (Manor Road). Continue on the frontage road to the light at 32^nd street. Turn left. Turn left again immediately onto the l-35S frontage road. Continue on the south frontage road to the Rodeway Inn on your right.

 

Traveling South on 1-35, take Exit 236A (32^nd Street). Go through the light at 32^nd Street. Continue to the Rodeway Inn on your right.

Traveling North on 1-35, take Exit 236 (Manor Road). Continue on the frontage road to the Days Inn on your right.

 

Traveling South on 1-35, take Exit 236A (32nd Street). Turn left onto 32^nd Street. As you cross over 1-35, you will see Days Inn directly in front of you.

 

Directions to the School of Music

 

The school of music is located at the corner of Trinity and Robert Dedman Drive (a.k.a. East Campus Drive).

 

If you are staying at the Doubletree Club Hotel, Rodeway Inn, or Days Inn, walking may be your best option. From the Rodeway Inn and Days Inn walk south along the frontage road on the west side of the highway. Bear right onto 26th street. Continue through the light at Red River to the second light at Robert Dedman Drive. Turn left and cross the street. The Music Recital Hall will be on your right at the next corner (Trinity).

 

From the Doubletree Club Hotel, walk north to the light at Martin Luther King. Turn left and walk west along Martin Luther King to Red River. Turn Right onto Red River. Walk north along Red River to Robert Dedman Drive on your left. Walk north on Robert Dedman Drive past the stadium and Bass Concert Hall on your left. The Music Recital Hall is on your left at the next corner (Trinity).

Parking

 

Parking on campus is scarce. Free parking will be available if space permits in lots 38 & 39 on Friday, February 15^th if you received a placard with the TSMT mailing.  BE SURE TO DISPLAY THE ENCLOSED PLACARD ON YOUR DASHBOARD or you may receive a citation. On February 16th, most of the campus will be open to free parking, except in designated areas.

Traveling South on 1-35, take exit 236A (32nd Street). Continue through

the light at 32^nd street. Turn right onto 26^th Street (a.k.a. Dean Keeton).

Try to get quickly into the left lane before the first light. Turn left onto

Red River at the light. Turn right into the parking lot.

 

Traveling North on 1-35, take exit 235A (University of Texas). Continue on through the first light to the second light at Martin Luther King. Turn left. Turn right onto Red River. Continue through the next light to the parking lot, which will be on your left.

 

Additional Parking

 

Additional parking may be available at Parking Garage 1 behind the School of Music on Trinity. Take Robert Dedman to the 4-way stop. Turn west onto 23^rd street. Turn right at the next intersection (Trinity). Continue up the hill to the parking garage on your left. Take a ticket ($6.00/day). The Music Recital Hall is across the street from the entrance to the parking garage.
