What are college students listening to and how "complex" is it?

This poster presents findings from a two-part research project aimed at collecting everyday listening samples in a naturalistic setting. Part I presents the results of a survey in which 50 students actively listening to music at a four-year university campus were asked a series of questions related to their listening choices. Part II presents findings from analyzing the songs based on basic parameters established by the researchers.
