The forty-ninth Annual Meeting of the Society for Music Theory (SMT) will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from Thursday, November 5, to Sunday, November 8, 2026. Proposals will be accepted between Monday, December 15, 2025 and Monday, February 16, 2026.

The Texas Society of Music Theory has invited Stephen Rodgers to give the keynote address at its upcoming 2026 conference to be held February 27 – 28, 2026, on the campus of Texas Women’s University.
